EmbedMyReviews supports most of the major reputable email services on the web. In this section you will find guides for each of the supported email providers.
We often get asked which email provider do we recommend? Our personal recomendation is to use SendGrid or Brevo (Sendinblue). Both of these offer a free tier to test out and can scale with your business needs without breaking the bank. If you have technical expertise inhouse then going with Amazon SES would be a good choice as well.
SMTP
There is one caveat that you should be aware of when using SMTP as your email provider is that if your customers want to use their own domain to send review requests from then you will need to configure the DNS on their behalf or provide instructions to your customers to do this. With all other email providers EmbedMyReviews automatically handles this for you.

Do I have to use an external email provider?
No, you can always use EmbedMyReviews as your email provider and purchase credits by clicking on your avatar image in the top menu, click on subscription and click on buy credits in the left sidebar.
